So I put my new ocean water in my 55gal drum, now have 2 of em full plus five extra buckets left that wouldn’t fit in drums
Look how clean and clear the water is I got yesterday 5 miles offshore

I am a little jelly you can collect NSW. I besides Hawaii I used it when I lived in California there was a place at the college in Santa Barbara that filter NSW through a huge sand filter for there marine classes, reefers could just pull up and fill there barrels. nothing like that in the mountains. but we got lost of snow to play in :)

SH are looking great! glad you got them on frozen...

Takes 4-5 days to train in frozen, start with live brine then add little frozen , then more frozen less live till all frozen and everyone eating well then I put them in population in big tank. Done for season now but will start up again in June. Season for them is mid June till mid to late September

I loooove your slo-mo video. It makes your seahorse look majestic! Do your seahorses do ok with the corals? It looks like you have a xenia and a devil's hand. What other corals do you have?

So today my tank is officially 11 months old and I think it’s looking ok if I do say so myself
Pure ocean water at 72.5 degrees
Can I get some beginner love
Your fish have little thank you captions over their heads. "Thank you for an awesome tank" and "Happy Holidays!"

So this is what it looks like when you ignore your tank for 2 weeks and have a huge GHA outbreak, wound up taking 89% of rocks out and scrubbing them clean ,, ticked off the corals but they’ll get over it,, hard part is cleaning up my wife’s living room before she kills me,, lol,, @fishguy242

mrs would kill me if her living room looked like that. it was discussed when we bought the house.
I went from a 110 high with stand and canopy in her living room to a 150 high in wall with fish room in the finished basement. "yes dear" never felt so good.
