Here is Meleagris. It’s out then in the sand then out then in the sand. She came out and half her face was covered in sand lol

How I do it. I keep a clear box so if they dive back in I push them in the box. I don’t even get sand anymore lol
Some will travel under the sand.
That is amazing. How far can they move under the sand? Also how close do they like to be to one another. From what I can tell, I have all three under the sand in the same corner.

It’s wrasse Wednesday somewhere. Was out of state for 4 days and I’m glad there were no wrasse tragedies.

Not sure how far but would guess pretty far. Mine like to be spread out but new ones in smaller qt tanks have stayed close at first. The trio of choats slept together for awhile before separating

That’s ehat i fo. Palm side down I doread my fingers then stick fown to the glass bottom and dliwly move forward. Chrysus and babi would always dive in when I tried to catch them.

Wrasse Wednesday for me is going to be more of a memorial this time as I lost two gorgeous boys this week.
