The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

I would very much love to tear down my qt after this batch of fish. Always a problem as I have 1 tang I’m waiting on and 2-3 wrasse. November will be a year re collecting them all. Had two years collecting and holding for the 220 to lose them. I’m tired and lost the love. Trying to get it back with coral now and finish fish.

Put a call in but thinking they are seasonal. Yes I block his name but if you know you know. I’m working my way to the grand finale but not sure my wallet will allow it
Guess what my last dream wrasse? @Salty i know you could guess

@Tcook you in??? Anyone else if I can get an order imported?

Well… we know it’s lennardi but if they’re ever on this list I know of one you want;
Geogfroyi

And maybe Chrycosephalus? Or is that just me and Slocke that would have one if they came back?

I never give up looking for a potters that needs a new home!
Chrycosephalus Is collected? Isn’t that the red tails I see once in awhile?

You see redtails?! Redtail tamarins??

Still no signs of the leopards, but I will be patient
How long have you had them? Watch for stress from others. It doesn’t take much. Also watch tank when lights are off. They will come out looking for pods and food when others are sleeping.
How long they take to adjust depends on how they were acclimated. If they are from ocean to you it takes longer then if a lfs held them and they adjusted to tank life and our time

Wait they are the ones from Hawaii right? I do see them locally but they may not be for sale. Idk.
Yeah they are Hawaii endemic.

Chrycosephalus is meant to be Hawaiian endemic but I’d found around other islands near Hawaii but I believe are legal to collect from.

Good. That means we have plausible deniability if we get caught.

I mean, isn’t it technically legal to fish in Hawaii? Surely they can still fish for food.

My red head is delayed. Poor thing is sitting in limbo at a UPS hub that I can't get to. Ugh!!!! I had a feeling Murphy's law would happen just because of how long I've been trying to get this wrasse.

Keep hope and still have a chance is Josh gets them from qM for me. I can have him ship if it comes down to it or I’m sure RE will help as it was shipping delay

Only a day. They came from Dr. Reef so should be acclimated to tank life. I’ll check tonight when it’s bedtime for the others

As my lights are coming on I was watching the tank and found out where my Leucoxanthus sleeps...

Is it odd that she sleeps in a cave dug by my Twin Spot rather than in the sand like a normal Halichoeres?

She does not like having her picture taken...
