Why is it whenever I get the camera out near the tank, all the fish run and hide? I can walk over to the tank at any time, and the fish all come to the front glass like their getting fed. Walk over with the camera in hand, and the run. LOL

Best I could get. Moyers is still sleeping, she doesn't come out till around dinner time. Yellow coris is hiding apparently.

Tank is cloudy from feeding. Only way I could get a pic of the moyers, and corris.

Funny thing, my fish are used to me, since I have been a way for the week, my fish act like they have never seen me before.

The blue flasher and melanurus are camera shy. The meleagris doesn't seem to care.
The blue flasher is a beauty, I wish I remembered to get photos of my guys earlier but now it’s lights off.
Here’s a few older photos in the meantime.

Love that radiant! I've considered adding one but not sure how the melanurus would take to it.

The flasher is actually a new addition, super happy with it so far. I thought the melanurus would bully it too but it was actually the Leopard who postured for a day or two. Now they're all best buds.

IMHO, it’s 50/50 with radiants however if you get it small enough and as a female or juvenile the Mel should be alright (Or if you feel that cautious about it, add another one or two wrasses along with a radiant to help spread out aggression). IME, radiants are more of a bully than they are the bullied - Mine especially goes back at the Jade and chases him around after the Jade chases the iridis around.

Like us, each individual fish has a different attitude.

My melagris still chases the moyers whenever she sees it. It hasn't let up one bit. Everything says they should get along just fine, but NOPE.

I do plan to add a Cirrhilabrus if I ever find a worthy one. Maybe that would be a good time to try a radiant. I dont have a big enough tank for as many as I'd like unfortunately

I've heard melanurus can be bullies, I guess I've gotten lucky. Mine never pays any attention to new fish. Wasn't expecting the leopard to posture like it did, but it subsided quickly.

Love seeing soft corals in the mix and briareum(?).

Wrasse question! in my ~60G cube, I have 3 wrasses, a pink steaked wrasse, melanarus wrasse, and blue spot leopard wrasse. The pink streaked isn't ever bothered by the other 2 and minds his business. The melanarus wrasse will occasionally chase the blue spot leopard around throughout the day. I haven't seen any nipping, and both wrasse seem to be eating fine, and staying out for most of the day (the leopard wrasse will even occasionally turn and chase the melanarus wrasse). My question is, would adding in a yellow coris wrasse help spread the aggression, by having more than 2 wrasse of similar shape?

As long as the yellow is smaller then the mel, you should be fine.

I would highly suggest an acclimation box. You will see what the mel will do before you introduce the fish. Just remember the yellow coris is a sand sleeper, so if you do use an acclimation box, offer a cup of sand for it sleep in so it doesn't get stressed out to much.

My mel and yellow coris got along just fine. The mel knew the yellow was the boss as the mel was added much later.

OOh forgot to mention!!!!!!

I got a call from the LFS this afternoon. When he picked up his fish order, he had a M. Kuiteri in it!

He's holding it for me, but it might be a couple weeks till I can get out there to inspect it. Luckily for me, has a very well established invert room where he puts fish that are sand sleepers.

Now I'm wondering if I'll have issues with it and the moyers? They are the same shape, and very similar in color as juvenile(both are juvi's).

I know what you mean. I wake up and have like 40 notifications and wonder "what did I post in that thread?" Or I'll reply later, and never do.

Yes!
I think the most notifications I’ve woken up to was about 50 and oh my I had no idea what half of them were about.

I think it should be alright, if both are juvenile then I think you should be even better as they can grow and sort out the hierarchy.
I’d place my bets on the king being the moyeri as they seem slightly more aggressive.
