I nearly pulled the trigger on a beautiful female Cirrhilabrus roseafascia but didn’t, I wish I did now as they’re stunning even as females.

Is this one of the mean ones like rubrisquamis?
Actually, Roseafascia is rather peaceful. However they can definitely hold their own when it comes to aggression.

My roseafascia was big and mean. Had zero tolerance for other fairy wrasses once he reached 4’’. His aggression got worse as he got even bigger. He was beautiful though. I think in a large tank you could mix one with other large fairies, but not in a 4’.

Definitely pretty - I think I’ve maxed out for wrasses. I’m surprised yours was aggressive as all the ones I’ve cared for were peaceful.

Once they’re established and get decent sized that peacefulness goes out the door. One of my past clients had one in his 550g he had to be pushing 7”. Stunning fish.

I was trying to get a photo of my new clam… A pinkstreak (Which usually hate photos and refuse to let me get photos of them£ decided to photobomb.

Same experience along with a couple friends. One was in a 6’ tank.

Haha I saw that coming. Very friendly. Up from lights on to off from day one. Very confident and didn’t need time to settle.
Yes. This is the one wrasse that seems to always be happy just cruising around not caring about any other fish in the tank.

Agree. My leopards tend to be like that but viviens all seem to advoid problem fish and cruise hope a male just as chill. Hate ordering large male wrasse but it was what was available and didn’t want to wait.

My 2 Pink Streaks arrived from Reef Pros today, they took off hiding before I was able to get any pictures.
