Not a bad substitute for a jordani. Kind of a blend of jodani and bathyphilus

Ya would be a great substitute. The price is a little off putting in relation to how long their life expectancy is. Parker’s Reef on YouTube went to a LFS that had a pair of these for sale. If I’m remembering correctly they wanted over 10k for the pair. Not sure if they have ever been for sale stateside.

When I first saw photos of this fish I thought it was the rich man’s naokoae. They’re beautiful but the naokoae beats it.

Okay not sure why this was quoted twice. Absolutely though in relation to the Naokoae. Expensive does not always equal the most pretty.

Agree. The price can be driven up because of the remoteness of the collection site or the risk of death to the diver.

Got it! Would that still be the case if the leopard was bigger?

You believe the other two would be ok?
Not an easy question. Sixlines and their cousins are the one small "reef safe" wrasse that don't play well with other wrasse. There's a reason you won't see many here.

Are we going to get a build thread of yours for the 120 some time soon? I’m sure @Slocke @i cant think and I would love to see it especially Aaron.

Lol. Soon. After I nuke a bryopsis issue I've been dealing with for the past 6 months. Will be hitting it with fluconazole before the 3 new wrasses go in.

Well I’ll be first in line for your thread then. Unless Aaron gets there first lol.
