My Vivien was burried for 2 weeks when I added her. Was out for a week and now missing for 4 days again. This one was quite small so I am less optimistic but they can surprise you.

I've had this one over a year and a half, and he's usually pretty solid with his schedule, rarely off by more than a half hour or so. I say "he" because he lost his spots and changed color back in December. Maybe still in transition? I'm sitting here doing water tests so I don't look crazy while I sit staring at the tank lol

Wrasse lovers unite, Id this pretty for me please... Recent addition to the harem. Importer says blue throat fairy wrasse, just looking for a confirmation. Also tell me more about the 'Chiseltooth wrasse' aka Pseudodax moluccanus. My Importer has one and its beautiful, thus I'm considering it.

The coloration of my Potter's leopard recently transitioned. He developed new colors in the dorsal fin and flashes some darker patches in the body

Anyone looking to try a Splendid Pencil Wrasse (Pseudojuloides severnsi)? Www.CoralReefTN.com has one in stock right now. It's the retail site for Sustainable Aquatics and I've always gotten really nice fish from them. I'd snatch it up, but the new fish budget is $0.00 until my next semester starts. At least I start my research position shortly, and I get paid for that. Per the wife, all the money from that gets to go towards the fish!

My poor moyers leopard is still being chased by my melagris. Poor thing only gets to stay in the corner of the tank, until the melagris sees it, then it's back into the sand. Eats well, and of course at feeding time, no one chases the moyers. Go figure.

If I didn't have to pull my tank apart to catch the melagris, I would throw it in an acclimation box as a "time out".

Just soo dang small and fast as lightning.

You may have to catch one of them and put them in an acclimation box. I've found adding 3-4 new fish at a time really makes a difference as well. You could also try attaching a mirror to the opposite side of the tank from where the movers hangs out, to try and distract the meleagris with its own reflection.

I've been doing the mirror trick for the last couple days. Works as long as the mirror is up. Only downside, my blue eyed kole really gets worked up into a tizzy. Changes from the nice deep blue/purpleish color, to deep orange with every stripe accentuated. Really cool looking, but I can't see it being to healthy for the fish to be attacking the side of the tank all day long. lol

Think I'm just going to have to try and catch the melagris and put her in an acclimation box. Hate to do it, but it may be my only option beside returning the moyers.

Look who decided to rejoin the party today! He's too busy catching up on all the gossip with the clowns for a good picture but I'm sure happy that I didn't have to endure another day of missing wrasse!

Also, I keep coming across this one wrasse. It’s beautiful but they’re said to get huge (Even for an Anampses). Anampses geographicus, has anyone ever owned this species if so, what was it like?
