I wouldn’t decline however first thing is;
What is a ‘Green Leopard Wrasse’ I think I know a ‘Red Leopard Wrasse’ and believe that Macropharyngodon choati as we call them the same thing over here.

When we figure that out we can give further advice unless anyone else here knows what species the LFS is on about.

I believe it will be

* Choat's Red Leopard Wrasse / Macropharyngodon choati
* Macropharyngodon meleagris
* Macropharyngodon negrosensis

All Macropharyngodons are reef safe. They must be kept in a reef in order to thrive. They don’t usually go after any inverts, snails they normally never touch. They may eat a shrimp of its small enough though. If you want to add some Macropharyngodons then a stable copepod population(s) must be something already established in your tank, along with other microfauna. Leopards burry in the sand and tend to stay hidden the first few days in a new tank. What Leopards were you interested in?

My pod population seems pretty stable rocks and glass are always covered.

I was considering one of each species for some color but was going to wait and see tomorrow when I go to the LFS and see them

I thought meleagris would be the green leopard but didn’t want to guess as I’ve also seen Xenojulis margaritaceus labelled as the green leopard.

Seeing as you are in Australia the difficulty of Choat’s is likely reduced as you’re in the same timezone as their native origin is around Australia. I would personally go for it assuming that your tank is 3’ long and has the pod population I’d go for one of each. I’d personally try get them all females and they should work, do you have any other wrasses?

Yea these guys tend to be bullies. I’m the central FL area, not particularly interested but nice wrasse.

Definitely grab Atleast 2 of them if not all 3. They’re all worth it in terms of wrasses :)

The tamarin was fully grown, or seemed to be at about 6 inches. Looked like it was with the other fish that have outgrown other people's tanks.
I'm waiting until I move my Niger to the 110 before I get anymore wrasse.
I haven't seen the dusky I'm about a week bc of it.
Then I want a leopard...

It’s shocking to see wrasses you guys get in The triple digits over here are sat in double digits… My naoko was a mere £30 ($37.24). My Lubbock’s were around the same price (the Cebu variant was slightly less).

Hey, I’m just jealous you guys get to go to a lfs and look at wrasses. Best I can get, without driving 2.5hrs is petco and maaaaaybe a six line. Hahaha
