I don't think I've posted this guy here in the thread before, but here's my Pink Streaked Wrasse I've had for a few months now. Always wanted one but they're imports died down a lot during Covid. I believe I got one of the first ones my LFS was able to get in a year is what they said.
He's been great, resides in my NPS Tank.

Though i can say with 100% confidence tbat theyre other name, "Cryptic Wrasse", is very true to nature lol. I only see him a few times a day, a lot of the times he's in the rocks picking at things.

We can’t get a rhomboid for under $200 over here! And that’s a female not even a male!

A few pics from this morning. The leopards and the gold nugget seem to only like coming out for the first half of the day.

Also threw in a pic of my upside down jellyfish, because they're just so neat.

That moyeri will soon become one of your most boisterous fish. Took a few months for mine to "come out of her shell", but once she did, she is most certainly taken over the role of beta female. My yellow corris is the alpha, no doubt about that. She tried taking him on, but he was having none of it.


Mine is actually a big chicken, but when it comes to the other fish, she flares out and does that side ways swimming thing when the other fish start harassing her.

My yellow tail tamarin is now the first fish awake in the morning, and the last fish to go to bed. Always constantly on the hunt for food.

@i cant think would bve way better at an ID then me. I could gather a guess, but would hate to be wrong.

The last two definitely has the body of a Cirrhilabrus, those are it‘s stress colors though so I can’t tell exactly. My guess it’s a Cirrhilabrus adornatus. It reminds me of the Cirrhilabrus I saw at WWC marked “Red Flasher wrasse”.

I got marginatus too when I searched but eating wrasse but this wrasse looked nothing like one. More like a very ugly A neoguinaicus.

The photos of this specific wrasse tend to look so much nicer than the actual species does. Photos that come up also seem to be males or mature females..

Pseudojuloides severnsi and Pseudojuloides edwardi confuse me as they’re so similar but with the variation between both species I find it hard to ID them.
I assume this is Severnsi?
