Thats so insane. I think I might have seen a few in the 100-150 range at the most expensive shops but most I see are less than $100. I think my first one was $45.

My LFS has them for $110 USD....

Ok, I have a 75 with 40 breeder refugium sump. Stocking as of now copperband, two standard clowns and a bi color Blenny. I have Tampa Bay live sand, so no wrasse that needs sand. My most importantly qualification is must not stress my copperband. Any suggestions on a wrasse?

I guess these are better pictures

It looks to me like it’s a female Cirrhilabrus filamentosus. These can be somewhat aggressive when mature, especially towards other fairies and flashers.

Went to my LFS and took pics of the wrasse that was there. I became inspired just a little and may be understanding why everyone likes them. I really do like the dragon wrasse, as well as the pink / yellow wrasse
The pink/yellow wrasse is Cirrhilabrus isosceles - The Pintail Wrasse.

The Dragon Wrasse is unfortunately aggressive and couldn’t be mixed with most common species.

If the CBB I want wasn't doing to be my last fish in the 110 *I say that now, as I don't have the eel*.. OR if win a lottery and can upgrade, a dragon is going in with the baddies.
I measured.... I could fit an 8' tank...

Looking for some feedback on my wrasse stocking plan/options. I may not add all these but these are on my “would like to” list. Tank is a 120. Anyone see any conflicts here?

Paracheilinus carpenteri - Carpenter’s flasher
Halichoeres chrysus - yellow coris
Cirrhilabrus aurantidorsalis - orange back fairy
Macropharyngodon meleagris - leopard
Labroides dimidiatus - bluestreak cleaner

The orange back may cause problems. There may be some chasing and in a 4’ tank there isn’t a lot of getaway space. Especially if you plan on getting some of the more peaceful wrasses. And you will. @i cant think @Slocke

Agree with above . On the blue streak cleaner get a captive bred one. Far too many wild caught ones die because they need a lot of other fish and are very difficult to train into aquarium foods. Save some fish and go for captive bred.
