What falls under lineatus?Sixline probably will be a problem at some point and also a lineatus with small flashers can be a tough mix
C. Lineatus aka the Lineatus Fairy WrasseWhat falls under lineatus?
Ah. Well unfortunately he succumbed to suicidal ideation so… Mr. Fairy unfortunately will not be harassed or rescued from the 6 lineC. Lineatus aka the Lineatus Fairy Wrasse
Big killer for wrasse is stress. Some will chase until one jumps or dies from stress. Also some will bite and rip others apart. Anyone with a model citizen 6line it’s because it’s young and didn’t mature. Eventually they will be a killer. Not that 1 out of 10 million may behaveI keep hearing that 6 lines are crazy bullies - they don’t get that big. What do they do just harass till the other fish dies?
I like this idea, but don't do it on the sand. Do it on a rock if you can.I am thinking about putting them in a mushroom box during the day then slide the lid open after the wrasse go to sleep in the sand. I really need to get the aiptasia under control. Got a Klien's Butterfly which has helped with smaller young aiptasia but has ignored the larger established aiptasia.
The box mounts to glass.I like this idea, but don't do it on the sand. Do it on a rock if you can.
My dream lol. You are very lucky and I’m jealous. Good for you to take the riskI have 2 3+ year 6lines who still don't bother anyone. They mind their own business and do their own thing.
Got it, I was just reading an online Berghia seller's acclimation instructions and they said, don't try and put them in the sand. The box mounts to glass.

Wrasse dominated tank with tangs can be very fun and exciting. Bed time things can get real funI think I added my last fairies until next year :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
Picked up a great looking Cirrhilabrus Ryukyuensis, Cirrhilabrus laboutei and Cirrhilabrus cyanogularis.
I will try and get some pictures in the next few days, had a acclimate box oopsies and didn't secure the lid so they are free!
Really glad I am pivoting from my original tang gang plan to wrasse the colors are starting to really show in the tank.
My last fish will most likely be a purple tang and mystery wrasseWrasse dominated tank with tangs can be very fun and exciting. Bed time things can get real fun
