I would not. Mystery can be quite aggressive towards other wrasses. They are beautiful though.

I would think a decent sized Ornate would be able to handle it.

They are few and far in between. I got a lot of my wrasse in Austin at Austin AquaDome. This particular Radiant pair, I got a Radiant many years ago. I got this male as a baby to pair with that one. He eventually died of old age and the female grew to be a male. I added this female as a young juvenile in Feb of this year I think. She is really doing well and assume the role of the female shortly after I added her to the tank.

When I added her I posted a few pictures. She was only about slight smaller than 1.5 inches. She is almost 2.5 inches at this time.

Need a recommendation for a wrasse that will get along with my jeweled leopard. I recently tried to introduce a pintail and it was bullied to death by this guy.

Also, wanted to show off the UV Paintings of wrasses I have.

Already asked for a custom made one of a Kaleidos Pencil, hopefully I get that in a couple of weeks.

Need to get back ontop of my wrasse photography as it’s been fairly down recently.

My mystery is surprisingly bowing down to the Aquamarinus and Angels in the tank. Still shows off to the Dottyback I have but even then she always loses that game.
She’s coloured up nicely too, I wish I had a photo of her.

Currently she’s been in there since the 11th of July, and showing she wants to be higher in the hierarchy but so far, she’s been blocked by the angels and chiseltooth wrasse.

Would it be okay to add an earmuff wrasse to my 200-gallon tank before introducing a mystery wrasse or a leopard wrasse, while the tank is still maturing? (It’s just under the six-month mark.) I’m fine skipping the mystery wrasse, but I’d like to try a Potter’s, ornate, or Choati leopard wrasse since they look cool.

If I am you, I would avoid the Mystery Wrasse and add the Earmuff last after the others.
