Alternative reef used to make them; do they not anymore?
Otherwise, any plastic or ceramic bowl will do the trick. I'm sure you could find something ceramic that would blend in / not be hideous. :)

Ya they used to make them but i couldn’t find any anywhere. I saw one thing on amazon i may order but wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas before i did that.

^ Nice angel. That’s funny. In my QT I have 2 supermale bells, juv earls, female bathyphilus, supermale rhomboid, and a nahacki pair.

I have my two johnsoni males in my 150DD cube waiting for the rest of the crew to arrive. Waiting to get an attenuatus soon.

Oh ok so the Attenutus is relatively small too then. My LFS has had a pair of Bells in a tank for over a year and it wont get much bigger. It flashes alot but up against a trio of Johnsonni, Lineatus, Brunneus, Jordanis, and Labouti.

Thank you. My last fish purchase, a lunate fairy wrasse, was back in September or October. She was also tiny but has grown substantially. It threw me off when I opened the box and saw these itty bitty things in there!

It sure seems like females of higher priced wrasses are starting to be more available. Maybe the collectors are starting to see the value in collecting them?

I have a female flame in QT as well and looking forward to the transition to come.

I'm certainly not going to complain. My plan was to buy only females anyway(wherever possible). Them getting female specimens of the higher priced wrasses will definitely open the door a fair bit wider for me and my collection

Has anyone ever had a female go male while in QT? Any thoughts on how to avoid this?

I'd like to add a female but this concerns me.

My female lunate did not..but she was by herself. In the presence of my young male exquisite she is starting to.

I currently have the flame and rhomboid in qt together(females). I'm interested to see if that will push one/both over the edge

My female flame has started to acquire some yellow on her face and belly....looks like she's starting to transition in QT. She's in with only a Gold Rim Tang.

Why do you not want it to transition?
