The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

I saw this while surfing. This was an old listing from 2012. Wonder who bought this and how did this stunning pair do in their new home? How they are today?

Wow....I just saw this....I am curious too if anyone has this fish.... beautiful specimen!!!

I'm thinking about getting a Paracheilinus octotaenia and was wondering if there are other wrasses I won't be able to get in the future with this one.
Currently I have 3 meleagris, 1 bipartitus, and a melenarus.

Thanks for the help getting this posted in the correct thread.

In your size of tank, no issues. It can bully other Paracheilinus in smaller systems.

Looking at a carpenteri and maybe a lineopunctatus at some point.

That wrasse is one drop dead gorgeous fish. Too bad they are so aggressive. I have to return mine to the LFS. I use the credit for a partial payment for a Paracheilinus octotaenia

That’s why I don’t have one. Maybe when I upgrade to the Big tank I will take a chance.
