She’s a beauty! Unforunate that makes dont share such a nice beautiful colour and instead go somewhat green. Very slim chance of a female feminus transitioning to male in captivity without another female feminus present.
Figured I'd update this. ReefPros contacted me about the issues with my order and made it right. I'm giving all the new fish and coral a couple months to settle in, and will be ordering another Lineatus from ReefPros later in the year. They are going to send me a video of the actual fish I will be receiving eating at their facility before shipping once I get around to ordering.
Reef pro, TSM, and I pre order a few wrasse from among the reef. They sound promising. Fingers crossed Also Reefco if willing to drive a few hours. TSM could be worth the drive so you don’t ship the fragile ones.
Anampses femininus wrasses are definitely on the tougher side in terms of quarantine. They don't tolerate any medications and really prefer an established aquarium where they can graze on the pods. However once they are de-wormed and transitioned onto frozen mysis they do very well longterm in captivity, unlike the Lennardi.This is my only pic of mine. She died shortly after QT. I only prazi my wrasses, no copper. She was eating like a champ, but somehow I still flubbed it :( Maybe prazi was a bad idea on a femininus? Do you recommend metronidazole on them instead?
I've always wondered how some of the more sensitive wrasses would do using Levamisole. Never really seen it used in reef fish before. Theoretically, it should work better than prazi for nematodes, but would be less effective for flukes and tapes.
yes no praziquantel for sure. Just freshwater baths and observe. Generally they come in pretty clean.

What a beautiful specimen!More unfocused terrible pictures. His tail filament (what’s the proper term lol) on bottom must have got nibbled on. Bummer as they grow so slow
