There is also a great group on the FB. Macks dino something. Best thing to have on hand is an inexpensive microscope to get a good ID and then follow the treatment protocol for the specific kind of dino you have. Some are primarily in the water column and others are rock/ sand based. They are treated a bit differently.

Fyi, the mud that AquaForest gathers has magnetic particles in the substrate. They swear it isn't "metal filings" and that the waters are pristine where they collect, so naturally occurring... Yeah, in any case, I mix it in a tupper with a very strong magnet (the OctoAquatics SHU magnet) below the tupper to pull out all magnetic bits and dump straight from the tupper holding the magnet against it. I've got a post about it, I'll link before my flight tonight.

Put magnet inside ziplock baggie , should make easy to remove filings,
works great for nails in a firepit... ;)
although larger magnet n wallyworld bags...:D:)
