Loved the tide pools! Did you dee the baby thin-nail sized convict tangs in the tide pools? Also a cool type of blenny.

I see plenty of blennies but haven't seen any baby convicts. Baby raccoon butterflies though. Tons of sally light foot crabs.

I did see a group of the very rare Tinkers butterfly but all you can see in the video is my guide being excited and some smudges in the distance

I think these are the first redfins I've seen.

Reticulate are rare and were too shy to get a good photo

Lined

Ornate are very common but very pretty

Also gold eye bristletooth tangs

I'll take a pair of each please! I miss my butterflies. After having a velvet outbreak (came in with a lobster I didn't quarantine) I lost all my butterflies, my tilefish, and a few others. Decided to switch things up and got a bunch of dwarf angels. Newest one is this guy, a hybrid between a half black (C. vroliki) and a lemonpeel (C. flavissima), which brought me up to 6 dwarf angels in the 5' 100 gallon. Also in this really crappy pic are the bicolor and the Rusty, not pictured are the pygmy African flameback, the coral beauty, or the misbarred flame.

I was REALLY tempted by this guy last night, but at $250, he's a bit above my experimental budget, and I don't have the time to work on training one over consistently onto frozen right now. Plus I don't have any SPS currently growing if it doesn't make the swap.

No real access to a oceanic current that brings nutrients. Odd that there are so many "coralivores" but very little corals.
