So, if I'm currently fighting with Cyano is it a good idea to add a clam?

You know, clams consume dinos, cyano, which during tides of cyano. We were warned to not eat shellfish.

The clam should be fine. But dont eat the poor thing.

Exactly, and pushing his same agenda to to a new guy that barely getting his tank through it's problems. Guy doesn't owe the hobby a revolution. He's just happy the dinos are clearing and wanted to share

Id have a clam right now if i didnt think my cbb would enjoy a very expensive meal.

My husband and kids like fish. Id have a coral and clam tank if i could. Eli the only safe resident.

As far as I know, these abstract numbers came from mh bulb marketing. 20k is more blue than 10k and 65k(k). It's like familiar slang that people know what you're reefering to. Technically incorrect but widely known and used

While i enjoy 10k to 14k. My coral love the 18k to 24k. As ive upped the blues. The tirches and meats are acting happier.

Choice of corals also make all the difference.. not everything looks great in white, the ones that do don't look great in blue. Something for everybody

No one talks about the green lights. Ive seen people talk about red. Never green. That should be a talking point. We focus on whites and blues...

Yes, i would recommend giving it a rusty nail though so it can join the fight

I added a pretty clam to the peninsula since I have a ton of random ones living throughout the rocks - someone picked it clean.

I'd like to try clams again but don't want to pay shipping and a high price for something that gets picked apart immediately. So I'm thinking to try a squamosina as an add-on to my Biota mandarin (Xmas GC) once I'm ready for the mandarin. Bonus is that I'll already have the food/phyto dosing system in place by then and hopefully a handle on nutrient stability.
