Ever cook those rocks?

I have my big sump rock I'm trying to think of what to do with. Give away or try to store it. How did you clean your rocks before drying them out and storing them? I'd hate to loose them.

I just rinsed them and then let them sit in the sun. And yes they are currently in water with GFO. Haven't gotten around to adding them yet

Seems like a lot of work. Maybe I'll just give the rock to @TangerineSpeedo , I hear he can use some aiptasia.

Large Brute garbage can. Fill 1/2 way with rock. After rock, fill 3/4 of way with water. Add 1 gallon of muriatic acid. When it stops bubbling, the rocks are cooked. Pull rock and sunbathe until dry. (The rocks, not you.) Pour remaining mixture, in the Brute can, to the curb unless you would like to sprinkle your lawn with it to see what happens.

(Edit - it stands to reason that you would wear thick, rubber gloves when removing cooked rock from Brute can.)
