I agree with this, working around fish shops you’d be surprised at the plumbing done and the nightmare when we run water through the first time. You never know if it leaks and you have to take apart the whole lot.

I hated plumbing my 5’ for that same reason, there was at least 4 times it began to leak. My nano however was nice and simple to deal with.

Yeah. I just plumbed in an external refugium and there were definitely some "exciting" moments.

Are you serious? Our local petco only sells cat/dog and small animal stuff. Very limited freshwater.

We thankfully have 1 awesome reefstore close by. But, i could break the bank very easy there if the husband let me.

My Petco has a sailfin tang that only as it's pectoral fins... Perfect for someone that has a nano tank because this fish isn’t swimming anywhere fast. I asked the person who was working there at the time and she was very dismissive about it... and said oh it was getting picked on, the fins are probably not going to grow back... what the heck? how could you let this happen?
