I think it's a good thing. It reminds me of one of those videos where someone made a tank into an actual table and they would eat dinner or whatnot on it and the fish swam below them. Maybe that was AI? Who knows anymore. I think it looks cool.

Thank you. I knew what you meant but I’m in Heathen mode this morning so I had to be a little silly today. There really are coffee tables like that. It would be a nightmare to do maintenance in though.

Now that the dus… errr…. sand has settled…. here’s the view from my seat this morning.

The tank gets a decent shot of daylight.

This is the view from the front. I took this around 1:30 AM. Yes, I had the lights on until then. I’m bad, but we are all #Heathens #Heathensl. Normally the lights go out at 11 PM.

It might not look it from the image but there is a sizable area of open sand. I have ideas for that but I need to decide which idea I want to go with.

Sandbed LPS in the negative space

I was thinking that. I’m thinking of brain corals. Possibly a Derasa clam, a Sqamosa clam, or a Sqamosina clam. I definitely want some Hawaiian feather dusters. Eventually I want to get a small Christmas tree worm rock.

Consideration should be given to worm placement, as I know you'll be getting a large shipment of SPS soon. The flow required for the two are vastly different, with high flow irritating the feather dusters. Just to plant the seed...
