Thinking about going Zeovit, is it worth it?

Not getting the growth/color I want out of my sps. Thinking about giving Zeovit a try. The dosing doesn't bother me as long as there is a payoff.

You are going to get asked this question or series of questions. What are your parameters, type of lighting and lighting schedule?

I dose it but just sponge power and coral vitalizer at the moment.

Nitrate 4ppm
Po4 0 ppm
Calcium 420ppm
Alk 8.5 DKh
Mag 1300
Potassium 400
Haven't tested iodine for a while. But I do weekly 10 gallon water changes.

System is a 105 gallon rimless with a 20 gallon sump.

Lighting are two G3 pro Radions at 60% ramp up and down from 10:30 am to 9:30pm

Zeovit is a personal choice. There are some that are using that will say it is worth it but is expensive and there are others that will say there are other alternatives for less. My recommendation is to research it thoroughly to see if it is a system you want to commit to; otherwise, you will just waste money and time.

If your PO4 is truly zero that could be where one of your issues is at. How long has the system been up and running? What type of bioload do you have? Try increasing your feedings a little and see if that helps to increase your PO4. What type of flow do you have as well? Like marquiseo said, it's really just a personal choice. It is expensive and I have seen tanks that have looked incredible both with zeovit and without. Bc of this I'm sure you'll get a lot of opinions for and against using zeovit supplements

try getting your PO4 up and keep it there for a 4-6 weeks to see if it helps with coloration. If you see improvement stay the course. If this works, you save some money and time. If not, try giving zeovit a chance if you still like.

I truly doubt that your P04 is at 0 unless you are running GFO hardcore. At that point, your sps will begin RTNing. Just take the GFO offline for a week or so until you truly need to use it again to lower phosphates.

If you are getting the brown film algae, that means your system has nutrients due to overfeeding and your GFO has been exhausted.

Dude if I look at your equipment list you got a nice setup going :)
I can tell you a lot of good and bad things about ZEO but that's not the point here.
As some already pointed out Po4 need to come up.
Keep an eye out on No3, most cases if Po4 goes up No3 will drop, find the balance.
Of course pics will help a lot, last time someone had problems with color most of members went back and forwards on the #, even me.
After the person showed some pics it was clear to most that his SPS were infested with AEFW, not saying if that's the case but we can't rule it out.

You might could try some t5 with the led you have. If it works, great, and much cheaper than zeo. If not you can always sell the t5.
