I will only get mystery packs from gator, because I've ordered enough from Jeremy that he actually sends me things that make sense for me. Not just like... *here's the absolutely most common scrap frags that I need to get rid of* that I feel some vendors do...

I struggle with live sales to be honest. Also, lately I feel like the more popular vendors have been drifting downhill

Yeah I learned my lesson. It's been a while since I ordered anything on line from somewhere other then Cherry corals or battlecorals. Gonna just stick with them and the local swaps. Thought I was missing out on stuff but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I AM TIRED of getting boogers. If I wanted boogers, I would pick my nose. Unfortunately, these vendors will clip any nub off a coral and sell it.


I seen venders pass out lots of monti plates as freebies and "mystery" corals. There's only a couple of live sales I even peak at now. SBB and ahh... I forgot the others.... Eventually I'll use my giftcards.



Should give us a small hint at who the vendor is... They are not doing this to 1 person, they are going to do it to multiples.

The vendor had zoanthids in their name but I didn't get one zoanthid.

Today's delivery was much better. It actually had a cold pack in it. Everything looks good and I am very pleased (as always) with these guys.

Curious what exactly was disappointing about Battle corals? Asking only because my experiences have been great.

Let me preface this by saying my one and only purchase from them would have been more than 5 years ago, I can't say exactly when but it was definitely before I upgraded tanks so a minimum of 5 years ago or more.

I couldn't even tell you what I purchased. I just know that whatever I bought i felt was more expensive than it should have been for the size of frag i recieved.

When I'm buying frags locally in the $5-25 dollar range on a regular basis (that was then, even the local ebay prices have gone way up now as I'm starting over again) it felt silly to me to spend $100 or more per frag to get smaller pieces

My current SPS (hopefully) system has been running for just at a year now, and while it's absolutely covered in beautiful purple coralline, i haven't even been able to keep a green slimer and a monti cap alive....... so I'm also not ready to start ordering from anyone again anyway. Once I'm able to get decent growth from some local friends spare throw away clippings I'll definitely be willing to try them again

Just got done with the class and pool work for my dry suit certification for scuba.so much fun so many laughs. Buddy's suit flooded and we got pulled over on our way home. 50 in a 35. Got a warning and another laugh. God I really am so fortunate to live my life.

No real updates.
4 day work week for the next 3 weeks.
Should be getting the results from the icp test sometime this week so dose when that comes. I have to make up some alk etc too. Have a list for the sales that are hopefully dropping this week. Need to figure out a solution to this high po issue. It's affecting my ph levels and I'm getting a bit miffed.

EDIT: Finally have the whole garage back. So need to clean that out and move all the honey processing equipment out of the basement.
