I used rebiotic in my old tank when I was having issues with cyano I couldn't beat (it was growing ON my powerheads and gyre, so definitely not a flow issue)

Ordered that and a couple other kinds. Just to throw them all at the wall and hopefully one will stick. Main issue is I cant get to the sand behind the rock work without messing with the lights so hoping mixing up the sandbed as best I can will work.

Thanks for sharing! Yes it worked magic on my tank when I had a cyano and I haven’t had any outbreaks it since because I do this with every water change!

Driveway plowed. I only have a little Toro so I have to stay on top of clearing the snow. I will see what its like again in a couple hours.

Po .435 (dosed phos rx 60d)
Ni 5 (dosed 3 caps of neonitro last night before lights out)
Alk 7
Ca 430
Will clean out sump today and vacume the cyano i can reach.
Partial order coming saturday with some recommended bacteria so will vacume and snow the tank this weekend.
In the meantime trying to get phos down and nitrates at 5 so the bacteria will work.

Big swap in a month. Sps has been loving the situation. Maybe get a few more fun sticks and stuff for the Mantis tank.

Sump cleaned as best as I could. Sucked up and blew off the cyano. Finally have the method down. Made rodi need moar. Bleaching socks tomorrow.
