I had a bad time in Amsterdam. I struggled to find good food. My friends were into smoking not illicit in Amsterdam, substances in the airbnb, and leaving the windows open to allow mosquitoes in (surprisingly, we lost our security deposit). Also, while I wanted to see the city, they only wanted to see a certain city area with a certain crimson illumination. Do I hate the fries due to assosciation? Somewhat, but also Mayo is a meh topping and plain fries need something with flavor.

Sorry! There's way more to Amsterdam than Mayo fries and red lights district. I usually spend a fortune on cheese and sweets. And there are some great walkable areas.

I may be late to the game here but if anyone out there has Netflix I would HIGHLY recommend watching the series Our Oceans. I can't tell if it's all real or if there is CGI sprinkled in. It is better then diving so far. Makes me want to go out and get a bigger TV. And a better dive camera set up.

I guess that is one downside. The 1st and second episodes are good. The rest are OK but blah. The narrator kind of grated on my nerves a bit. Would rather have purrrrfered Sam Elliot. Yes purrrrrr.
