Third time better be the charm

Fingers crossed they make it through the next month.

Did they wake up early?
It was just a nice day so the were doing some housekeeping and pooping. cleansing flights they call them. It's a good sign the made it this far. These next few weeks to a month is when most hives die. Need the maples to bloom and dandelions then we will be ready to go.

Thanks for the knowledge! That's really cool, and I mean that sincerely.

And now this:

I'm guessing that "wake up" wasn't the proper terminology, though. I was debating "deslumbernation", but 1) I'm 74.52% sure that word is reserved for @BeanAnimal , and; B) I'm only 27% sure, on-the-nose, mind you, that "deslumbernation" is not actually a word.

The term is "unslumber".

The warden often unslumbers me.

I get grumpy when unnecessarily unslumbered.

Unslumbering me is unacceptable in no uncertain terms.

The unslumberng is often the result of what is called bobulation.

bobulation is the act of moving my pillow or blankets in an effort to unslumber me.

I often have trouble going back to sleep after the bobulation and resulting unslumberation.

We won't be sleeping together, so you don't need to remember the definitions of either of those words.

Carry on...

Feel free to use the term cleansing flight as you see fit.

Januarys learn a new thing is going to the 3d printer. February's learn a new thing done. Crochet. His tail is a little wonky but other than that for my first try I am pleased with it. And since Joann's are all closing I am going to get some yarn this weekend.
Also printed holders for the Inkbird for the 180g, took way longer then I expected. Going to set up another set for the office tank next.

And I found out today why chicken meat prices haven't skyrocketed like eggs. Distance between farms.

I love it. I've been trying to convince my wife to get into Crocheting again... Mostly because I saw this:

And I absolutely must have it.

I have personally tried to get into crocheting multiple times over the years but my fingers lock up so it never works out

I need that Gollum.

She's hobbied out at the moment, has the better part of 200 house plants and does the majority of the work when it comes to caring for our 2 rabbits and 2 dogs... Not to mention a 30 year old man child :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

The Gollum and Balrog are the 2 that stick out to me. They're fantastic.

I almost said and Balrog as well, but Gollum has a special place in my heart lol.

I also have a good amount of house plants (not 200 though), and a 30+ yr old man child :face-with-tears-of-joy: Only one dog, no rabbits - the man child is severely allergic. We do have 6 quail and hopefully by the end of this year we'll have chickens as well. If you include my staff, I have like 20 adult children - they're exhausting. I don't feel bad not starting a new hobby now, thanks.

That is sooo cute....but wait....Joann's are closing

Unfortunately yea, I don't think it's 100% of their locations but a significant portion of them. The one by my house is a cleared out ghost town at this point.

I hear ya. I'm a bit of a Gollum myself so I empathize. I like my cave, my ring has a special place in my heart, riddles are fun, and the sun hurts me.

I'm here to help. But I'll also encourage you to manage your time poorly, neglect responsibilities, and follow the trail of the new fun shiny :face-with-tears-of-joy:

They announced this weekend all will be closing and liquidating bc they couldn't find a buyer for the 2nd bankruptcy filing.

Bummer! I really enjoyed Jo Ann and Michaels as a budget friendly stop as compared to Blick (and I don't support Hobby Lobby for personal reasons).

Guess I'm going back to ordering my art material online, or driving extra far to the mom & pop shops.

Because you like to experience joy? :face-with-tears-of-joy: sorry, I'll see myself back out
