I got the same one, looked the same at lease. I called it incredible hulk. Looks like yours might have a little more blue than mine. I will see if I can find a picture. What is the origin of the favia?
Yeah, post a pic if you got one. I'm curious if its the same. This thing is the brightest favia i've ever seen. I believe its aussie but i'll have to ask to make sure.
I found a photo of a frag of the one I had. I dont think I ever took a picture of the colony. I was wrong about what I called it, I was thinking of a monti. I called it mean green. But, Blue Lagoon is much better.
Looks like the same one.
I should have kept some for myself. I really like the bright greens myself. Thats a nice size colony you have! The colony that I had was only about 3 inches X 3 inches...
I have something sorta similar as well from Aquatic Collection,I just found out that they call it "Green Frost Favia" having owned it for well over a year and a half I can tell you that you'll prolly get the best colors out of it under low diffused light
What im really loving about this one is that the light blue isn't just in the mouths, its in the valleys as well and for some reason its just different from any of my other favias. I guess you'd have to have it in front of you to really know what i'm saying. Its quite striking.
Kev, your piece is awesome. I can't believe you want to get rid of it.
