Alright I’m still basically new to the game, however my tank is supporting zoas, hammers, an Acropora, and a carpet anemone with zero issues, everyone seems happy, rodi water, everything is stable. Win.

So I went to snatch up a rock flower anemone, 15$ so yeah I’ll take a drive. Get there, and it’s not a rock flower, didn’t ask for a picture cause it was kind of a split second offer and then me responding.
I figured I’d talk him down a few bucks and take it home, should be fine, tank was medium low lighting, and mines a bit higher.
It’s opening up way faster than my carpet, and seems like a true anemone vs the carpet I have. I don’t think it’s a rock flower :( however that’s ok, the whole back line of my tank is still empty lol.
What is this thing? It’s super cool? Foot was healthy mouth closed.

Possibly a ritteri or a sebae? Any pics of the underside? It probably isn't a rock flower though. Either way nice $15 cop. Good luck.

It seems already set its foot down and I don’t wana stress whatever it is out.
It looked like a long tentacle anemone foot, smaller than its body and flat/whiteish

So far seems happy. Almost looks like a bta with non puffed up tents.
I’ll check again in a few weeks and see what it’s doing lol.
Anemone shrimp loves it though so that’s cool.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
