Off to a great start! I did the same thing with my Reefer XL 425 with tubing through the wall for AWC. If you want any ideas, check out my detailed build thread:
https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/suncrestreefs-red-sea-reefer-xl-425-build.358990/

I set up a lot of automation.
I hope to get this on Auto-pilot or close. I would love some Ideas, I have been trying to figure out the plumbing and electronics layout. I will attempt to pull off an @Elder45 for the Dry Side. I am debating plumbing upgrades.
Build list so far.
New
GHL Megga controller with KH Guardian, stand alone 2.1 doser and a Maxi Doser for AWC
Ecotech, 2 Mp40's and 3 XR15 w/diffusers ...ReefLink on the wish list....Will see if I need it?
Fin ex heater with a Johnson controls controller, second heater on the power bar
80LBS Special Grade Sand
In use
Reef Octopus Regal DC skimmer
Tunze topoff
Cor20 return pump
Reef Octo 2 wave pump
Aquatic life Hybrid T5 with a custom hanging brackets

I found 50 lbs of Fuji Live Rock that I nuked and started curing along with another 50 that is live and a box full of dead, I should be able to transfer live stock in a week or two after the waters in.

Looks like you got a good plan going ;)

but I really like the paint color in your office.
thanks! I went with the white cabinet and thinking about trimming out the doors with the same molding as the wainscot. I am slammed with work and the 75 gallon is sick so this is going slow. Hope to pick it up soon

thanks for stopping in! Here is a pick of the heater control. I was shopping and the JBJ looked to bee a solid choice then this popped up, Im an industrial controls guy so this sparked my interst and the price was the same $75 so why not. I also splurged and picked up the KH director. I am now considering a separate cabinet for the GHL equipment due to the ION director being released in November.

Been busy with yard work due to the late spring. I had my granddaughters christening last weekend and am having a fam reunion this weekend so Im just chipping away at the tank when I can. I ran a USB and a E-cable for the mix-station, I will have a maxi-doser and who knows what.

I had to get the light stand mounted before the tank was set, I went with 80/20. I installed a brake kit to the linear bearing on the top two, this will allow for adjustment

The sump is Bigger than I expected and leaves no room in the cabinet, so I used tapered flat head Stainless screws, 1/4-20 x 1.5" and then drilled the holes with a 5/16" bit, this allowed me to counter sink the screws below the cabinet surface to ensure the sump will not make contact.

I had lots of help this past weekend and the tank was set. I was surprised that the front pane of the aquarium does not sit on the stand but hangs over the doors:confused: also that the top of the stand is not one piece. The top is sandwiched between the side panels, but hey its a Red Sea so I'll trust they know what their doing. BTW the 80/20 bearing comes with a shim kit, you can see the uprights are pulling due to the brake, its only a quarter inch but still noticeable so Ill have to shim it. Next is plumbing, I have a bunch of stuff from BRS on the way, nothing fancy, I just wont a bulk head on the return and Im going to swap out the gate valve, I hear that go's after a couple of years.
Next will be Controller and Electronics Board, I will try to pull off an elder45 that pivots to access the back of the space. I am also considering a designated cabinet to the right of the tank ether way for
storage or electronics. That's it for now.

Hey Siggy! Ok, question one: if the tank is flush with the back and the sides of the stand... YES the tank will hang over the front until you close the doors, then it will be flush. Two: For the stand pipes, you are talking about the pipes in the rear weir area right? They have 2 sets of threads, the top threads have at the top of them a set of ratchets.. when you get it screwed down you can grab the pipe underneath inside the cabinet and screw it down until it ratchets, which HOLDS the pipes in place. You don't have to lube them.
I have the E-260 and LOVE it!
Anyhow I started plumbing, installed overflow tubing, the stand pipe has about an inch of treads but for some reason only requires a couple of turns to seat so not wanting leaks I did a quick post and Dr. Phil;) jumped in and set me straight. Thanks!
I did use some Molykote-111 to lube the O-Rings. Now that I see the plumbing I am only going to modify the return line. its only 12" with a hose barb but the glitch is its a 25mm and the rest of the plumbing is 32mm and I only ordered 32mm adaptors, of course! so I will order a single adapter today. Thats it for now, hopefully I will get somewhere tonight .

I highly recommend changing out their stock Gate valve. That thing was the biggest pain in the butt for the first year I ran mine. Once I changed it I was so much happier with the whole setup. I was having to mess with it almost daily at times, If I was lucky for stretch maybe a week.
