I found a mortar and pestle for $12 at TJ Max which made making the powder easy. I did not ventilate well and highly suggest folks head the warning and don’t be like me. It may cost me some longevity but the scape came out pretty great and was a fun project.

How fast does this set?
Is it ok if the rock is wet and just pulled out of the water?
What kind of sand/how big grain is best to use?
I am looking to order some and create a structure out of my pile of live rock.
Doing it our way it sets instantly. We can take two pieces and glue them together and once its built up enough, it will hold instantly. No need to carefully hold in place for an extended amount of time. Both the rock and sand need to be bone dry. Sugar sand is the absolute best for this.

Click HERE To Learn How We Aquascape

Recently a whole new way to Aquascape has been taking this hobby by storm. We discovered a very easy way to build your dream Aquascape using three items... SUPERGLUE, SAND and LIVE ROCK.
We are blown away at how simple it is to create a wonderful reef structure for your home aquariums. The speed in which this process bonds the rock together is astonishing. Literally, after 5 seconds of cure time, the entire structure is solid as, well a rock. We found that using Marco Rocks Live Rock @Marco67 and @Glue Masters Thin Super Glue was hands down the best option for what we needed.

We invite everyone to share your beautiful Aquascape for all to see.

Have you finished this scape yet? I'd love to see the finished product.

Would Carib Sea Super Naturals work? Petco has 10 lb bags for ~$6, which would save people a lot of extra sitting around.

How much @Glue Masters for a 15 gallon scape, do you think?

Just make sure the sand is like sugar and is 100% dry. I would say a single large bottle would be ok as well.

Unfortunately we do not offer it in Canada just yet, but are looking in getting a warehouse partner there in q1 2021.
Hello,
I am wondering if there is any update to this? I'm also trying very hard to find the thin cyanoacrylate in Canada. Is it possible to phone your company and get it shipped?

I also tried finding it here as well. Keeping my fingers crossed for this as I have a whole box of smaller rocks just waiting to be used.

Here is mine about 2 months after completion. I used wet cured rock I've been soaking for about 8 months. Loved doing this. Can't wait to see my coral all grown out...

Great work!! It's almost a shame it will be covered with coral. Seems like the best scapes should be FOWLR.

I had no idea this was what you used to create that scape.

So you've proof tested that it can still be done with wet rock? I was just sitting here thinking maybe having my air compressor hose hooked up next to me and blowing water out of the mating surface in the live rock could still allow the capillary action for the glue to suck in.

I dried it lightly with a towel before gluing . The very porous rock (pukani) that I used breaks long before the sand and glue come apart. I broke the rock several times moving it, but never once a joint.
