Tideline 62 lagoon build

Im not the OP but I have the same tank
Are you liking the tank? I’m thinking of picking one up this weekend. How is the width on it? I know it’s 18.5” but is that including the back chambers? Can I also ask how you’re running your back chambers because I don’t really know how to run the filtration

Yes the dimensions is 18.5 total. My back has the dual pumps, a tunze 9004 skimmer, heater, underwater light and chaeto, plus some live rock rubble and a bag of chemipure. I do not use the filter socks it came with. I do really like the tank.

Hey Dan, the chambers' unevenness is totally normal. It's nearly impossible to have each baffle be perfectly symmetrical on both sides, so one side will always run a little lower than the other. You also want to make sure the chamber where the pump is located is running lower than the other chamber to ensure there are no stagnant spots in your rear chambers. You want to put your ATO sensor on the side that runs the lowest. For me, this is the right chamber (when looking directly at the front glass panel). I have my water level roughly 3 inches or so above the pump. Then my ATO input line is on the left chamber above the pump. I haven't had any issues with this setup so far. I'll replace the pumps with some DC pumps once they start to cause problems but so far they've been perfectly fine.
Can you show me a picture of this? I think I have my water level wayyy too high

What chamber did you put your Tunze 9004 skimmer? I can’t get mine to fit due to the radion brackets.

My left side water level is HIGH (350 mark), my right side is at the 200 mark. My ATO is on the right side as well as my ATO tubing. I’m scared to put the tube on the left side and it overflow, but I heard others say the ATO tube is on their high side. That just scares me for a potential flood!

My chambers are as follows from left to right.
Left side return pump (upgraded DC pump set to 4 out of 10 power) and ATO in this chamber (my low side)
Left larger chamber - underwater light and chaeto
Left Center - overflow no sock but a bag of carbon
Right Center - overflow no sock some rubble rock
Right larger chamber - Tunze 9004 skimmer
Right return - DC pump set to 1 power out of 10

If your pumps match in power you are going to have an issue with a high and low side. I fought with this for a couple months before replacing the pumps with these.
