Tiny white specks all over glass

I’m curious as to what are those tiny white specks on my glass that suddenly appeared out of no where. They are all over everything, they don’t move until I scrape off. I’m hoping they are pods. My tank is up running about a year. Started with fishless cycle and have no coral just fish.

I’m having the same but move.. looks like tiny crustaceans almost like red bugs. I’ve had them and these are eating the corals food and move very rapidly.
Yours look like spiral worms i call or what reef lover said

Out at night in crazy #’s. Posted on it
Copepods.

Listen to reef lover. He nailed it. Definitely don’t look like copepods to me. My guess is they are hard like grains of sand and not moving.

So just to be clear a mandarin or wrasse won’t take care of them?
