Tips for remora nano skimmer?

Hey guys, I have a JBJ 24 G nano cube and added a remora nano with MJ 1200 a month or two ago, problem is the remora produces an extremely wet skim, very light tea color and barely any odor, I have it set as high as possible, only thing off the top of my head I could do is try usuing the standard MJ 900. IMO the neck is too short....wish I had spent the extra $40 and gotten the full size model but most reprts I read said the nano was perfect for the tank...only mods are the the MJ 1200 and the plastic cover over the injector to silence it.
