The FFM is a huge event that draws many, many people from not just Connecticut but also surrounding states. There you will see venders that come from all across the country. It can be a bit overwhelming due to the shear size of the event but something you need to experience. It does get crowded at the event so bringing small children might be a challenge, but not impossible. Pack your patience!
I get there early, shop around, spend lots of $$, hang out a bit then I'm out of there! That's my game plan but you can do it however best suits your needs.
