To puck or not to puck?

So I think I'm going get some rapid leds for my biocube 29g. One of their options is a led puck...so what are the benefits and disadvantages of led pucks?

Anyone? I've heard that puck lights "blend" better, but was wondering if that was it.

I don't have the rapid led puck, but I do have 2 of Nanobox V3 array in my 24g nano. They are fantastic! From all my research, the closer the leds are together, the better they will blend. The small arrays are fantastic options for nano cubes. I have very clean light without any separation, or "disco" light. I could see for a larger tank, the arrays could cause some spotlighting, if there aren't enough installed.
