So is having more natural filtration better than mechanical (skimmers etc.) ??? What do you think?

I'm considering starting my next tank with Tampabay saltwater live rock and going with the triton method. I like the looks way better than a minimal scape. I feel nothing in the ocean is very minimal lol

The only drawback to a lot of rock is that when the power goes out, all that bacteria will wipe out the oxygen in no time. I learned that lesson during a 6hr power outage that cost me several fish. Other than that, I love having a lot of rock. I like a lot in the display...lots of little places that creatures can hide. People can stare at it much longer, trying to find things, instead of see it all in 1 minute.

After getting inspired just hearing about @nitrox36 's 1.5 tons of live rock (still gotta see it sometime :D) I did some research and I've decided if Santa brings me what I hope he's gonna , I'm gonna use "the package" from Tampa bay saltwater for my live rock and sand. If you haven't heard about it check it out!
