Nope. I don’t mix the bucket. I end of using the entire bucket eventually, so it all gets into the tank. I go through salt like water.

Are you guys shaking up your salt buckets when you first purchase them to ensure its a homogeneous mixture or am I just wasting precious calories?
I’ve started using the IO bags. So I just dump an entire bag into my 44gal drum. But you’re definitely wasting your time. Ha

I don't. I haven't noticed any major deviations in my parameters either via Trident. I have heard some people do roll them around though.

I do this cause it makes sense to me.
Does it help? No way to know.
It’s not going to be negative in any way.
I just make it part of the water making process.
I can use the exercise anyways.

it shouldn't matter unless someone vibrated the bucket. that would possible send smaller and larger particles to separate from each other. Otherwise its just a workout for no reason, unless your into that sort of thing.

I do this all the time. I figured there would be settling. Is it warranted prob not but it doesn't hurt.

I mean, how much “settling” of similarly sized particles packed tight in a container could there even be? Air would need to be present. Or tons of fine vibrations. I can’t believe I’m even entertaining this… haha great, now I’m wasting my time thinking about you wasting your time.

The buckets are not packed tightly. There about 3in of space between the lid and the salt.
