Thinking of adding a toadstool to my tank. It is a 12g jbj nano cuba with 8g of water volume. I run carbon, purigen, and chemipure. Have ad people tell me to be careful because they release chemicals so that the surrounding stony corals will stop growing. I have a mixed tank with lps and two sps. has anyone had any of these issues? do you think it would be ok to add it?

Thanks in advance

I’ve had this Toadstool for a year in a half. It really hasn’t bothered the Monti above it or next to it. I think the question you should ask yourself is do you really want it given that it can get 6-12 inches across. I love my toadstool but it does need to be fragged or it will self propagate.
