Toadstool shedding?

Hi, my leather toadstool has been closed up for over a week now. I assume it is shedding as I have noticed some white,slimy strings coming out of it from time to time. But today I have noticed it is all covered in a layer of slime and it opened slightly. Is it normal process and is it not taking too long now? Anything I can do to help it?

All my parameters look good.

It appears ti be closed up / shedding. Looks normal to me.

All parameters are good is a vague statement and it’s always helpful when we have all possible parameters available.

I have a few leathers myself and I recommend running carbon to keep things in check. I just use a media bag hanging in a filter sock.
