I had a bad bout of dinoflagellates and had to restart my tank. My toadstool has turned from a bright white to a tan color though. I'm wondering if that's due to the toxins and will it turn white again now that it's in a different tank? Pics are from before the dino outbreak and today.

I maybe wrong, but I think your toadstool is coloring up.

That's a good thing

Dino's take hold in too low of nutrient reefs, and toadstools like high nutrients.

Looks like the color is more enhanced in the second picture however this could be due to the placement of the coral as well since it looks to be a different place so it affects how the coral grows or colors.

I had to start over with different rocks, etc so yeah, new placement, also a taller tank. The second picture was taken with less white light as well.
