I've never seen any in the reefs and how it is used by reefs, by corals & the types of SPS, LPS, Softies, Leathers etc and fish ?

Since the branch's are almost round, how do corals attach themselves and types of corals that use them ? (can't imagine any Acro's grow on them. lol)
Are the branch's only near the tops of reefs ?
Are there big quantiles of these type of rock, like complete reefs made from branch rocks ?
Do they look like trees and broken off branch's ?

Any photo's and videos would be great.

You can add corals to the branches especially SPS. Here are a few threads on branch aquascape.

One of the larger aquarium shops in Sydney Australia makes scapes with the branching rock for SPS - they look awesome.
