Too many fish?

I made an updated list based on the advice I got.

2x black ice clownfish
Solorensis Wrasse
Diamond Sleeper goby
Flame hawk
Tomini Tang
Green mandarin
3x lyretail anthias (1 male 2 female)
Yellow tang (aquacultured)

Also, what order would you add these fish in to avoid any possible aggression?

Clowns
Goby
Anthias
Wrasse
Hawk fish
Baby yellow tang and tomini together or yellow first then tomini

I disagree - only because clowns establish their territory first - however - believe it or not this is not an opinion based thing - every tank has had fish added in different orders, etc. Its something - to question - but the honest answer - do what ever you want - and deal with the consequences

Still a lil tight if I had to be honest…(for 58g volume)

I’m not so much a tang cop as not a big believer in the “re-homing” movement, yellow tangs can get a lil large

if you can’t find a male, you can just get 3 girl Anthias (usually)

Huh Ive always added clowns first! Never had an issue. Especially thr little clowns! Peaceful until they get big!

Like I said - it's an opinion based thing. There are no rules that guarantee success

We all have our own opinions based on our own experience. That's what's great about our hobby.
Lots of experienced reefers on here.
I have a long list of fish I'd never buy again.
An even longer list of some I wish I still had.
I am one who is completely against over stocking but to each their own I guess.
Before doing anything though consider the creatures first and do your research second and read your threads and opinions well third.
Look at a lot of tanks on here.

My Lemonpeel angel killed 2 of above.
I wont do another Tang.
The Blue tang will be over a foot. The two above are half the size

I would say you can have as many fish as your filtration can handle. Bigger fish less, smaller fish more.
But you will be struggling to keep nitrates under control if you don't have enough biological filtration

I have two dwarf angels (Watanabei & Swallowtail) - they are beautiful and peaceful. Besides, they don’t get too big.

I don’t think tangs in captivity get over a foot, unless you got a tank like Andrew Sandler at Polo Reef!

Did you say Lemonpeel???? I can't use enough swear words against this supposedly peaceful fish. I guess I could put a dollar loss. The one I got liked about 3000$ of coral...

No @bakbay - it literally mowed through my LPS - while I was thinking it was a disease. Then - I sat for 5-6 hours watching. Soon - when the monster felt comfortable - it ate and ate and ate. The 5 days trying to trap is was another issue:)

That fish went back to the store as soon as I could capture it.
Which is why I said - impossible to say which fish will do well or not. I have had multiple angels - never touched a coral.

Knock on e-wood, so far -- I have had minimal casualties with corals. My Hippo Tang massacred half my wife's zoas garden until I caught her in the act! Well, lucky for me (and Dory, the Hippo) -- I just moved the garden to another tank!

Thanks to Vetteguy, now I have 4 Klein Butterflies, one in each tank for aiptasia control. Well, I have zero aiptasias left but I've noticed some zoas disappeared at random though! Other than that, I'm a huge fan of these fish. It's worth the risk!
