Too much lighting

Is there such a thing as having too much lighting on a reef tank with fish and corals. I have a 10 gallon nano tank and a 165 watt led light from a previous tank. Can I use it together or no? Just don't want to spend the money for another light unless I have to. Let me know, thanks.

Yes, but without an actual PAR reading and knowing the types of corals you have - it's hard to say.
