Hello everyone! I recently redid my aquascape, where I replaced around 80% of the existing live rock in my tank with dried reefsaver rock, and replaced my sanded with fiji pink sand in place of gravel.
Because the tank has inhabitants I didn't want it to loose its biological filtering abilities, and I put all the live rock I removed from the display tank into the sump, near the skimmer. So that I can keep my worms, pods and bacteria populations, so I don't accidentally recycle the tank and harm my inhabitants.
The skimmer is literally surrounded by rocks now, would that create a water flow problem?
Should i remove some rocks?
Also if I have to remove some rocks, how long would you estimate before the dt rocks get colonized enough for me to safely remove rocks from the sump? (I do intend of keeping some in there, but increasing the flow)
