Good afternoon,
I’m looking for the best long term choice for salinity readings. I don’t mind paying up to $200 if it means I’m getting as close to “precise” as possible readings because that way I can get closer to point of stability.

•Is this the top of the line for refractometers¿ And is it just a rebranded milwaukee MA887¿

•Or should I become the most patient person on earth and order one of these?^ (BRS pls take note of the beaker addition)

LMK any conductivity meter suggestions too .. Have a great rest of the day!

By any chance do you think it is just a rebranded milwaukee MA887¿ Because Amazon and BRS has them for 120ish..
Get that Milwaukee! It’s accurate and fast.

Edit: and no more squinting eyes, trying to find the perfect lighting spot, and trying to decipher which point the line hits.

I use a decent refractometer and have fluid to calibrate it with. It is simple and pretty fool proof. It takes readings fast and needs only a Very small sample. Also these are pretty inexpensive.
