Torch coral emergency

I just got back from being gone for multiple months had family taking care of my tank and I noticed super high nitrates like 64+ ppm and water changes aren’t doing enough so I have algae scrubber going now not sure if this is caused by the high nitrates or what but any advice could help the levels are as follows. 8.1 ph 10.3 alk 500 calcium and 1400 mag phosphate is around .14-.15

Honestly, your levels look fine. Yea nitrates are a bit high but I would do what you are doing. Nitrates can spike but your torch appears to be ok with it. Don’t shock it to the downside.

The only issue i see is that two of the torches were fine when I left but now their skeletons are like cracked? and the flesh is on most of it but not the cracked areas and they don't open up like they used to.

yes its actually the same corals but they seem to not be doing the best.

My hammer was the first coral to do this now its starting to happen to my torch corals.

I agree with others. I don't think the high nitrates will cause that. LPS love nitrates. Something else is causing that IMO. I would inspect those corals and see if there is anything on them. Also if you have had swinging parms. That could have caused the issue
