So my one torch coral has had tentacles retracted for about last week or week. Not all the way but a good amount to where it use to have them. It is in the process of splitting one of its heads so I wonder if that is why? Also thought maybe the flesh band has issue so if someone could tell me would be great. The stalk Isnt super long been like this since I got him 3 months ago. I assume bc of splitting but need an expert to help. Another torch I have is also splitting and one head last week looked awful but then came back and now looks completely fine. Thanks all pics below. Sorry for blue light will take better pics later. Last pic is torch that looks better.

It's hard to tell, but I think the flesh band is very small from what it seems. It could be many things: flow, light, parameter fluctuations.

For me, I tend to find the tentacles extend more with good flow. Assuming the parameters and lighting are all good.

It is very small has been like that since I bought it. Assuming it go cut very low and has always been like that. Never had the issue before tentacles use to be really long and flowing side to side. I have 4 torches all near eachother and all other ones are doing just fine. Getting plenty of flow as I asked in another forum. Parameters are stable and test regularly. Calcium 450 alk 9-9.3 magnesium 1400. Nitrate and phosphate are really low. Could it be form splitting process? Light has been same since I added him. Nothing else has really changed.
