Hi all
Dose anyone have any idea what could be causing the ultra grail torch to drop some polyps. My Newyork nicks and drogaon soul are doing fine and are only about 3" away from each others

Can you use a filter, or take a picture under white lights.

Please take a few angles, especially from the base to top. We need to see the fleshband as its a sign of health.

Its hard to tell but I can barely see a fleshband. Can you post pictures of your other torches as well?

I mean its not bad per say but I wouldn't consider it healthy. Have you noticed a decline in the fleshband over time? Usually you will see it slowly recede as it gets closer to the crown, is when polyps start bailing.

If the fleshband has been the same since you got it. I would be looking at something picking at it.

Also a dip won't hurt if you haven't done one yet.

How old is the tank? What par is it in? Need complete tank parameters. Euphyllia can be difficult in newer tanks.

Those small fields of bumps on the base…. Are those flat worm eggs? I had euphyllia eating flat worms that destroyed a single torch and never touch my others. It seemed to happen over night.
Here’s a picture I took of mine. It started off as small patches and me being new to the hobby I didn’t know what I was looking at. Over night they exploded.

Il take it out and do a dip and a light brush see if that helps

Ok numbers seem decent. Is it in low moderate flow? In your pics the frogspawn to the left is also retracted. Torches can close up if splitting to form a new head or if pests. Also, although the vast majority of time Torches can touch nearby other Torches, sometimes this is not the case. I've had this occur in my torch garden when mixing ausie, Malaysian and indo Torches close together. It is not common but can occur.
