Hello everyone,

I purchased a torch from a member and It arrived today. The only thing maybe a little off was the temp upon arrival but everything else appeared fine. It was then temp acclimated, dipped in revive, and water acclimated before introducing it to the tank. It looks horrible and I’m not sure what else I can do at this point.. not sure if it’s the stress and will recover or if I’m in trouble. I turned off the lights and am letting it be. It’s a cotton candy torch.. you know green tentacles/oink/purple tips. Well there knotted in places (like a ballon being tied, are deflated and brown). Anything i can do or be patient and see what happens? Bottom pictures are the most recent.

It’s been about 3 hours since being put in the tank. I was just concerned about the coloration and the knotted/flaccid tentacles. This is my first torch experience and I’ve read it’s not uncommon for them not to open but I’m not sure If that’s relatable to what’s going on here.

The update today.. lights just recently started coming on.. but added this orange indo frogggg and it’s doing well. So I’m guessing it was the dip in revive that ticked it off. We will see. Just keep crossing my fingers I guess.
