Have a 2" clam that is not doing well after coming back from a week long trip. The foot is still attached and the byssal threads are out attached to the gound. The clam reacts when i touch it by closing up. But its gaping so dang qise and it appears that through the mouth you can see straight through the back to the ground. Not sure if thats supposed to be the case.
